The Edmund Rice Network embraces people from diverse backgrounds across the world.
Sharing a common spirit, they work for a better world for people in Europe and worldwide.
All are inspired by the gospel values of Jesus Christ and by the vision of Blessed Edmund Rice to respond to the needs of others through spirituality, education, youth ministry and social justice.
The Network is sourced in the traditions of the Christian Brothers and Presentation Brothers and in the spirit of their Founder Edmund Rice.

European Province Chapter
Christian Brothers from across the Province of Europe gathered at the University of Limerick from August 10th to 16th for their Chapter. The assembled gathering of 160 Brothers gave consideration to the emerging new directions for the Province with a view to planning the future. For the final 3 days the Brothers were joined by 38 lay members of the Network. The spirit of Blessed Edmund was alive and vibrant, as plans for structuring the Network took a few steps forward, providing a clearer road map ahead.
